The Challenge

This Toronto driveway was experiencing significant cracking and settlement, with a prominent jagged fracture running through the main slab and creating an uneven, hazardous surface for the homeowners. Over time, unstable soils beneath the concrete had washed out, forming voids that caused sections of the driveway to sink and shift. Beyond the safety concern, the open crack exposed the slab to ongoing water infiltration — a major issue in Ontario’s freeze-thaw climate — accelerating erosion, worsening movement, and threatening the long-term stability of the driveway structure.

Our Solution

We restored the driveway using a targeted concrete leveling and stabilization process in Toronto. First, we injected high-density polyurethane foam beneath the slab to fill voids, stabilize the subgrade, and carefully lift the sunken sections back into alignment, eliminating trip hazards and restoring structural support.

Once the slab was stabilized, we completed the repair by applying a premium crack and joint sealant along the full length of the fracture to block moisture intrusion and prevent further deterioration. To fully protect the system, we also sealed the perimeter transition where the driveway meets the home’s brick foundation, ensuring a continuous watertight barrier against future washouts.

The Result

The driveway is now fully stabilized, level, and protected against seasonal movement. The repair not only restored safe, even access for the homeowners but also significantly improved curb appeal while extending the lifespan of the existing concrete without the need for full replacement.
