Why choose polyurethane injection?

• Strong but light: the injected polyurethane weighs only about 4 lbs. per cubic foot, compared to roughly 120 lbs. per cubic foot for standard fill material — so it won’t add an undesirable load to weak soils, yet it still supports substantial weight and typically provides greater lifting power than mudjacking.
• Adjustable: by fine-tuning the two-part polymer reaction, an experienced applicator can adjust the density and expansive force for a wide range of geotechnical uses, factoring in the weight of the structure as well as soil characteristics, temperature and weather conditions. Special formulations are even possible where water must be displaced.
• Non-invasive: the injection equipment isn’t bulky, so applicators can reach confined areas. When properly injected, the process is far less messy or disruptive than other slab and foundation-lifting techniques.
• Fast-curing and waterproof: the slab is ready for use within minutes, and the cured polyurethane forms a waterproof repair that is far more permanent than mudjacking.
